In November 2012, Living Islands Movement held a Forum to discuss environmental issues of interest to South Lantau. One of the top three issues voted for was Ugliness. Our environment is blighted by construction and commercial waste, litter, bad public design and other assaults on the beauty of our island landscape.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so we called for photographs of the ugliest and most beautiful on South Lantau.

A4  proportion – portrait or landscape.

Colour or black and white is welcome.

Images must be high-resolution files (300 dpi).

Selection of images will be made by the LIM committee task force plus a professional photographer based in Hong Kong. The judges’ decision will be final.
